That’s a Wrap!

Can you believe that today is the final day of 2016? It feels as if the last New Years was only a few short weeks ago. As this organization begins to think about everything that has happened over the course of the last twelve months it is so apparent that our success is only possible because of the community we reside in. Volunteers, donors, and supporters alike have been what has allowed us to continue working for the women and children in need across east central Indiana. The board, staff, and residents at the YWCA cannot express enough gratitude for everything these individuals, local businesses, and organizations do for us.

Have you ever dropped off unwanted clothing items?

Shared our Facebook posts?

Attended one of our events?

Then you are a part of the success and growth that we have seen in the last year! It takes very little to help us in our movement to empower women and eliminate racism, and even simple tasks can increase awareness and help us continue to grow. So,

thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to serve 612 women this year, 131 more than we served in the year previous. Thank you for enabling us to boost our successful move out rate to 85%, 18% more than 2015 and nearly double the national average. Thank you for helping us Let Love Live and support over 30 women for an entire year in the last month alone. The compassion that our organization has been shown in 2016 is incredible, and is fueling us for an even better year to come. Continue following our content, we have exciting news coming soon! 2017 is our year.
