#GivingTuesday at the YWCA
Now that we are full of turkey and ready to relax after a busy time of cooking and shopping, your friends at the YWCA would like to remind you that Giving Tuesday is in a few short days. Sadly, not everyone’s holidays are full of love and laughter, but spent alone with what food they can find. We want to change this for the less fortunate women in this community.
#GivingTuesday was created five years ago following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It is a global day used to kick off the season of giving, meant to celebrate and support giving and philanthropy. This Giving Tuesday consider giving to the YWCA to let love live.
Let Love Live is our 2016 holiday campaign focused on getting women in need the necessary resources to become self-sustainable.
It only takes $739 to give a women a warm bed, fresh towels, clean clothing, hygiene products, hot food, and a safe place to call her own.
Only $739 for an entire year of those goods, say what? $739 is an odd number but can give a woman an even chance. The YWCA Central Indiana has a goal of changing 100 women’s life this holiday season. Help us let love live on.
